  • #1 · how to use a textures mod locator instead of a mod name (from user files) in map editor ? (solved)
  • some maps point to a textures mod URL (locator) instead of using a user files textures mod name, so that players will download the mod in the game cache instead of relying on local user files.

    how one does that in the Editor ?

    the issue is when you download the skin mod file (x.zip) but not the locator file as well (x.zip.loc)
    you need to have both files with the same base name in your ManiaPlanet/skins/storm/mod folder so that the locator file is included in the map when you save in the editor
