  • Here is the final update for Ascension before mapping contest close.

    Balance Update 05/25/2013

    After stress test on map I have updated the following to balance defenders and attackers

    * Replaced middle run ramp with an angled block ramp (both attacker and defenders were getting caught on it at same time)
    * Included an extended wall beside right attacker ramp (defenders see attacker ascending ramp once they are further up it)
    * Removed second path for upper run ramp
    * Removed rail pad ( defenders had too much of an advantage with attackers coming down from the ramps or moving along grass)
    * Included more cover and structures on upper level to better balance the long distance between attacker and defender on grass)

    General:
    * Polished map ( removed unnecessary blocks and landscape)
    * Added more lighting and changed time of day for map

    v1.2:
    - Added trees
    - Changed Black sector (left from defence spawn)
    - Added routes for new offence players to follow

    When do the most people play on the MMC servers (GMT/UTC, if you can)?
    (I've been on thrice before, but no-one else's been on the servers when I'm on...)

  • I usually go on there (on weekends and every 2nd mon im off work) around 9am - 11am EST (sorry you will have to convert that) and after about 5 minutes of farting around people will start joining.

    If you would like to test something right now just PM me and i will join up and help.
