My map entry for May mapping contest.
Utilizes some of the new blocks and the arrow weapon!
Update 05/20/2013
*Reworked lower level. After some play testing many found it much too big so I reduced the lower level by half and added attacker spawn much closer in relation to pole.
*Defender perch has the fences changed
*Changed location of defenders spawn
*Modified block height for some structures on upper level
*Added a sniper area just behind pole which can be used to counter the attacker if they are up on the mountain
*Added a launch pad on lower level for one of the bridges entering the upper area
Update 05/21/2013
*Last major update to map. Just minor fixes when needed
*Added an additional path to second level from attacker spawn. During play sessions it felt like the attacker was being funnelled when choosing the centre path. This path will move the battle over to the left portion of the map better utilizing that area if chosen.
*Some changes to blocks on upper level near capture point
Balance Update 05/25/2013
After stress test on map I have updated the following to balance defenders and attackers
* Replaced middle run ramp with an angled block ramp (both attacker and defenders were getting caught on it at same time)
* Included an extended wall beside right attacker ramp (defenders see attacker ascending ramp once they are further up it)
* Removed second path for upper run ramp
* Removed rail pad ( defenders had too much of an advantage with attackers coming down from the ramps or moving along grass)
* Included more cover and structures on upper level to better balance the long distance between attacker and defender on grass)
General:
* Polished map ( removed unnecessary blocks and landscape)
* Added more lighting and changed time of day for map
